Neil "women158" Parkinson is a Graffiti writer and Illustrator from Leeds UK. Neil graduated with a Degree in Visual Communications and a Diploma in Illustration in 2007, and has worked freelance ever since. He creates work using his unique and instantly recognisable style, a mix of all his hopes, dreams, fears, created through years of painting under bridges and doodling on any avaliable surface. He takes inspiration from many sources, overheard conversations, music, ancient civilisations, the serene horrors of 5am . He has been fortunate enough to work with many great people, musicians, charities, galleries, companies, councils, and also to travel up and down the UK and abroad drawing and painting live. Neil is allways creating, in any form that is avaliable to him, pushing his hopes of limitless creation. He hopes his works make you smile, but even more that it will make you think, or simply that you find something in the image to relate to. Neil is constantly creating so make sure to check back for new works, and the shop for new purchases. He believes everyone should be able to own an original piece so creates work that you don't have to be a fat cat to own.
"Neil ‘Women 158’ Parkinson creates whimsical characters full of passion and woe...a dreamy, sea shanty world, where tendril haired women and doe eyed boys are deep in the middle of some fantastical adventure, that you just KNOW you want be part of...if only all dreams were like this..." - The Wrench
